It took about three years for Bernard Grimaldi, award-winning film music composer and Corinne Povels, Communication Chief Executive and notorious groupie, to complete the making of their Moroccan dream and create a universe where music, textures, materials and objects have been carefully chosen not only for their beauty but also for the history and meaning that they carry with them.
Bernard naturally tends to the music design and carefully selects from his private collection inspirations.
The Cocoon playlists are thus conceived in coherence with the spirit of the different rooms to produce the finest sound for the finest moments.
Corinne, meanwhile, shops around to unearth fine art pieces.
From Pierre & Gilles to Robert Mapplethorpe, all the allusions at the musical myths exposed in the Cocoon rooms come from leading contemporary artists.
